"We have been using formulas C&D on the Harding greens since 2016 as part of our poa control programs. The results were immediate. Turf quality and ball roll were very much improved and I asked Frank if he had anything for fairways. We then added Rhizo-Carbon to our monthly fairway spray and it was a game changer...fairway hot spots went away and the color evened out beautifully.
The biggest benefit of using these products was the long term improvement of our soil thatch. It got away from us on greens and in three short years our ISTRC tests went from concerning to perfect. By the time the 2020 PGA showed up, we were able to give the best golfers in the world surfaces they would expect at a major championship. I can't tell you how many long putts were made that week. It seemed every player who came in the week putting well, made everything they looked at.
We now use the Enhanced Organics line on some level at every course the City of San Francisco operates. It's cost effective and marries well with our environmental philosophy."
